What I am doing...
Wrigley Building, Chicago River
Originally uploaded by nicnac1000.
Well, it has been a long time since I have a real update -- mostly because there isn't much to update. I am currently temping at the Wrigley Company (yes, gum - I chew approximately 43 pieces a day now) and working in this lovely building (the wrigley building)...yeah, exciting, I know! It's a pretty easy job, but I like the people I work with and enjoy getting into the city each day. (Especially since the train goes right by the chocolate factory each day...so my mornings smell yummy!!) Chocolate, gum, what more could I want? It's nice to have a routine again, although getting up at 6 each morning is a little tough after living in the lap of luxury for the past 5 months.
In other news/plans, I'll be moving into the city after the holidays (why move out during them? I figure if there is any time to be with your family it's then!) and am still working on finding a "real" job in Chicago (and figuring out what I want to be when I grow up!)
Man, this is a boring entry...time to head back out travelling! Anyone want to go to Eastern Europe/South America/Australia/New Zealand anytime soon?

Home sweet home!
My planned route through europe

I'm back! What an amazing trip...I am so glad I had the chance to take it and to see all the wonderful things I saw. The last few days of my trip were spent in Florence (with a side trip to Siena) and then to Rome. Rome was a great time ending with a ridiculous yet fun pub crawl (I never thought I would pay to go on one of those organized things in my life) and an early morning for my trip home! I plan to have all my pictures up soon, so come back in a few days for those. Thank you so much to everyone who read along...I dont know if I will keep blogging but perhaps my adventures in finding unemployment might be as interesting as my trip...yeah, I doubt it too!
