Ok, here they are...condensed and ready for your viewing!(click on the pic above and it should take you to my 2ndflickr account) These are most the pics (except the ones from the first few days which you already saw:))I think the best way to look is to look at the set "Europe, part 2" and either scroll through so you can see the labels or do a slideshow if you just want to see pretty pics!

Let me know if you have any ?'s! You are smart kiddies, you can figure out how you would like to view them...

Congrats James and Gina!

Beautiful Bride
Originally uploaded by Lauren H.
Well, I thought this blog would be just for the trip to Europe, but I thought maybe I would continue to post some major events, just for my own sake now and then. Last weekend (my goodness how the time flies -- it has been almost 2 weeks since I got back from europe) I went to James and Gina's wedding which was absolutely perfect! They are a couple that you know will have one heck of a life, and I was glad to be there to see the official start of it...at least now when I need a favor from one of them when I am 50, I can prove that they do know me! Anyhoo, I took very few pics, but here is one of the gorgeous bride! (and diane!)

Home sweet home!

My planned route through europe
Originally uploaded by laurenh.

I'm back! What an amazing trip...I am so glad I had the chance to take it and to see all the wonderful things I saw. The last few days of my trip were spent in Florence (with a side trip to Siena) and then to Rome. Rome was a great time ending with a ridiculous yet fun pub crawl (I never thought I would pay to go on one of those organized things in my life) and an early morning for my trip home! I plan to have all my pictures up soon, so come back in a few days for those. Thank you so much to everyone who read along...I dont know if I will keep blogging but perhaps my adventures in finding unemployment might be as interesting as my trip...yeah, I doubt it too!

A Roma!

Originally uploaded by nicolai_g.

This may be my last train...wow, how the time has flown...I met some brilliant irish people in florence and decided I was ready to make my way towards home, so I am heading to Roma for a few days with them to have a crack (haha, i have no idea how to use that term, but i like to pretend I can use irish-british-australian-scottish phrases correctly) before making the final move to the motherland...wow how the time has flown, but it also seems like it has been ages since I left. Seems like I have barely seen anything, and also seen so much! Anyhoo, ill be home in a few!

Burn Out!

Incendio
Originally uploaded by kno.

Well, kiddies, it was bound to happen...I am burnt out! I made it to Florence and found a great hostel with tons of cool people...and dont want to do anything but sit and read my book! I think 4 weeks on your own is the perfect amount of time and am glad that Ive got an uber flexible ticket to tailor this trip to! Im headed to Siena today and then was planning to go to Cinque Terre (coastal towns) next, but the plan seems to change daily...better get your requests for souvenirs in soon, cuz you never know when I might end up on my doorstep at home!

Heres my favorite pic of new ones Ive got up...unfortunately, ofoto is not a great program for titling and rotating pics...so youll have to wait for the context for when flickr is being nicer to me! Otherwise, you can just stare and guess at the ones I managed to get up for now!
